If you don’t have a valid military (.mil) or service email address, you’ll need to contact us and provide additional information so we can verify your military status. If approved, you’ll be eligible for military discounts. However, if we’re unable to verify your status, you will not be eligible for the discounts.
To submit evidence, you’ll need to raise a support ticket through SBT Bot with the subject "Validate Military Status". We’ll contact you and explain the information we require. You can provide one of the following acceptable documents:
Active Military Personnel:
- Military ID Card (CAC)
- Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
- Orders Document
Veterans:
- Veteran ID Card (VIC)
- Discharge Papers (DD Form 214)
- VA Benefits Letter
For Reservists/National Guard Members:
- Military ID Card
- Orders Document
Emergency Responders:
- Agency ID Card (e.g., from a police department, fire department, or Emergency Medical Service)
- Employment Verification Letter from your agency
- Relevant Badge or Certification (e.g., paramedic certification, firefighter badge)
The provided document(s) should clearly show:
- Your name
- Issuing authority (e.g., Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, or relevant emergency response agency)
- Current Validity: The document must show active status, including the current year of service or validity period.
Once we receive your documentation, we will review it and notify you of the outcome. If verified, the discount will be applied to your account, and you will see the discounted prices at checkout.
