When shipping the physical reward gifts for completing a certification, Security Blue Team are responsible for processing, packaging, and shipping the package using a tracked courier.
Sometimes when packages enter a country, they may be subject to an import tax/duty, or other custom fees, which are passed to the package recipient. SBT are not responsible for these unexpected fees, and are unable to pay them.
If you decide that you don't want to pay your country's respective fee, you can ignore any communication sent to you, and when the package is returned we will recycle the contents. Please note that we will not resend packages when it is returned to us due to unpaid custom fees.
As always, keep an eye out for scams where bad actors get you to pay a delivery fee or customs fee. In most cases any communications should include the tracking number that we display in the physical rewards tracking portal.
