Securing your account is super important with Multi-factor authentication (MFA). This feature ensures that your account, digital badges, and progress are fully protected. Setting it up is fast and easy, taking only a few minutes.
Setting Up MFA:
To enhance the security of your SBT eLearning / BTLO account, follow these steps to set up MFA:
Step 1: Install a Mobile Authenticator App
- Authenticator App such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator
- Note: These apps are available for both Android and iOS devices.
Step 2: Enable MFA on SBT eLearning / BTLO
- Log in to your SBT eLearning / BTLO account.
- Go to the account settings
- Look for the option to enable MFA and click on it.
Step 3: Scan the QR Code
- Open the mobile authenticator app on your smartphone.
- Select the option to scan a QR code.
- Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code displayed on the SBT eLearning / BTLO website.
Step 4: Save Recovery Codes
During the setup process, you will be provided with recovery codes. It is essential to save these recovery codes in a secure location.
Note: In case you lose your authenticator or face issues with time-based codes, you can use these recovery codes to regain access to your account.
Resetting MFA:
If you have lost your authenticator app or are unable to access your account due to MFA issues, follow these steps to reset MFA:
Step 1: Submit a Support Ticket
- Raise a support ticket through SBT Bot on the eLearning page or submit ticket via email to studentsupport@securityblue.team.
- Make sure to include the receipt ID of a certification you've purchased, which you should have received via email.
- Please provide the reason for needing to reset your MFA.
Step 2: Wait for Assistance
Our support team will review your ticket and respond as soon as possible to help you regain access to your account.
